Product information "USB-422/485-Mini/R"
The USB-485-Mini/R changes signals between USB and RS-485. The device is specially designed for the two wire RS-485-bus and preferably for the stationary employment. The shippment includes a clip for mounting on a DIN rail.
There are no confusing attachment and configuration settings.
The attachment is not complicated and debugging is simple in case of communication problems.
The isolation between USB and RS-485 protects connected devices from overvoltage (i. e. lightning) and bridges earth differences of potential.
The small size and low power consumption of the USB-485-Mini/R makes usage also on mobile computers possible.
For the RS-485 plug you can get a casing if needed to build your own connection cord.
