Product information "USB-Nano-485/OP"
The USB-Nano-485/OP changes signals between USB and RS-485. The device is specially designed for the two wire RS-485-bus. For this reason there are no confusing attachment and configuration settings.
The attachment is not complicated and debugging is simple in case of communication problems. In difference to hardly attached devices, the LEDs are always visible.
The isolation between USB and RS-485 protects connected devices from overvoltage (i. e. lightning).
The small size and low power consumption of the USB-Nano-485/OP makes usage, not only on the desktop pc but also on mobile computers possible.
For the RS-485 plug you can get a casing if needed to build your own connection cord.
